Gratitude for healing an obsession

"This letter is to share my experience and gratitude for the healing I recently experienced using the techniques of Tapping that Joachim Schubert used with me in a private therapeutic session, and taught me how to continue the use of the method on my own.

I have had a strong desire to eat too much food, and the wrong kind of food for as long as I can remember. I have worked to overcome this using many healing methods.

As Joachim worked with me, using this method of Tapping, many thoughts and feelings were revealed that I was not aware of, even though I am a practitioner of a number of healing methods myself, and constantly am at work with myself with prayer, meditation, introspection, and numerous healing methods. Many emotions came to the surface that had been repressed.

During the session with Joachim, what also became apparent to me was that at least as big as the obsession I had with food, was the obsession I had toward a man that I have longed for romantically for many years. I had thought this was largely gone, but this day realized much of my consciousness was still consumed with this sad longing.

In the days following, I diligently used the Tapping method as waves of intense anger, fear, and sorrow came to the surface many times a day. I trusted the process would be all for the best. When the emotions were overwhelming, or when I was fatigued, I prayed and meditated, turning these feelings over to my Higher Power.

After a few days of this I felt a tremendous emotional burden lift. The craving for the food and the man are gone most of the time. When the food cravings occasionally come, I use the Tapping, and it is subdued.

After this clearing of emotions, I find I am more present to beauty in life such as my children, nature, friends and music.

My relationship with God also became more clear and deep. After the heavy buried emotions began to clear, in the new opening I renewed my relationship to Jesus, which is bringing me tremendous love, fulfillment, freedom, peace, and success.
